The story of events surrounding the notorious divorce of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll during the 1960s.
The story takes place mostly in the 1960s but also covers periods between the 40s - 60s. I assisted in creating a range of props and dressing including editing photographs and creating adverts for magazines and newspapers. I also worked on some key props such as editing the infamous polaroid that set off the divorce case and remains to this day a mystery - who is the headless man?

PROPS
IAN’S BOOK
For this scene I created a book cover for ‘Kidnapped’ by Robert Louis Stevenson. As he is obsessed with raising a shipwreck from his lake, I thought a sea based adventure might be relevant for his character. The insides are actually Ibsen books from my own bookshelf!
MARGARET’S POLAROIDS
A picture’s worth a thousand words, and sadly Margaret’s private photographs were forced to speak for her.
MARGARET’S SCRAPBOOK
Margaret was a keen scrapbooker, archiving her presence in High Society through magazines and papers. Here we see Margaret scrapbooking as she learns of Ian’s Dukedom and decides to call him up. I worked on the layout of the scrapbook and created a glue label coverup.
